New! Social Distancing Signage Solutions
Recently, we updated our website with a new application segment that has been in demand for many of you in 2020 – Social Distancing Sign Making Solutions. Under this section, we go through the various signage solutions for social distancing, from floor decals to signs and banners, and the Roland DG equipment that can create them.

We have also added a range of social distancing signage templates that you can download and use for free.
Reminder to Upgrade to New and Improved TR2 Ink
Earlier this year, we announced a free conversion for TrueVIS VG and SG Series owners to the new and improved TR2 ink.

Gain New Features, Improvements and Cost Savings

Roland DG encourages all TrueVIS VG and SG owners to switch to new TR2 ink to obtain a host of advantages and new features. Together with a TrueVIS VG or SG upgrade, the TR2 ink conversion will result in stunning print expression, increased reliability, improved usability and significant cost savings**.

  • "True Rich Color" Preset – maximises capabilities and combined with TR2 inks produces stunning graphics.
  • Crop Mark Options – for cutting laminated printed materials to increase cutting stability.
  • PerfCut Mode – print, cut and die-cut in one seamless operation.
  • "Nozzle Mask Function" – continue printing using remaining print heads if one print head clogs, reducing downtime.
  • **Reduced Ink Consumption – due to an automated maintenance sequence.

TR ink will be discontinued by February 2021. Final date of discontinuation is subject to change based on the rate of conversion.
Power of Creativity Website
Recently, Roland DG Corporation launched a special "Power of Creativity" website. The website introduces the many creative activities undertaken by Roland DG employees around the world to assist customers in continuing or restarting their businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The website features five categories:
  • Useful Tips – latest information, tips, application ideas
  • Support – how to maintain the safety and normal operation of Roland DG machines
  • Heartwarming – positive messages and activities from employees
  • Academy – programs, new business opportunities, technical skills demonstrations
  • Monozukuri – flexible manufacturing ideas

The website continues to be updated with new articles, case studies, tips and tricks, so make sure to check back regularly.
Save Time with the New Job Assistant Function
The VersaWorks 6 RIP software is packed with new functions to make your colours pop and streamline your print and cut workflow. The latest update to VersaWorks 6 has been designed to make your printing life even easier with the new Job Assistant function that allows you to edit, print and cut without returning to the design editing software.
Roland DG Training Update
With restrictions around the pandemic continually changing across Australia, we have once again put on hold our face-to-face training courses, Profit Through Personalisation and VersaWorks: Beyond the Basics. At this stage, VersaWorks: Beyond the Basics in Brisbane is still scheduled for 23rd September, however we will review this in the coming weeks.

Euro Signs Expands Production and Colour Accuracy with New
Roland DG VG2-640 with Green Ink


Based in Tasmania, Euro Signs and Safety has been making a huge range of signs and safety products for more than 25 years. To expand production, that now includes a huge range of COVID-19 social distancing signs, floor decals, barriers and safety chains, Director Pino Perri recently invested in a new Roland DG VG2-640 printer. Pino opted for the new TrueVIS TR2 Green ink so he could more closely match his customers’ requirements: "our customers come to expect closer matches to spot colours for their corporate identities, which we are positive the new VG2-640 will give us".
